We just finished up the beta release of a program we have been developing.  We've been working some very long hours and I must say, I'm impressed by the response of management here.  A lot of companies I've worked for would just expect everyone to work long hours and not say much about it.  At Urban Science we had a fun launch party, and they gave us the day off on Friday.  Relatively speaking things like this don't cost that much money to the company, yet they make the employees very happy and bring large morale boosts.  More companies should think like this.
