I haven't had a normal phone in a long time.  As I already mentioned I installed Vonage in order to lower my cell phone bill.  I also picked up a new set of wireless phones for the house.  I picked out a 2.4Ghz GE phone.  It was cheap and I figured it will do the job. 

Ever since I installed Vonage I started having some problems with my wireless network.  My laptop would connect for a while, then disconnect, then connect again randomly.  Since I had just installed Vonage I tried unplugging the Vonage box, but the problem was still there.  After thinking about it for a bit it finally dawned on me that the 2.4Ghz phone sitting next to my router might be the culprit.  I moved it and sure enough the problem went away.

So don't put your wireless router next to your wireless phone.
