When I started blogging I thought I'd meet some new people, learn some new ideas, etc.  I never thought I would meet so many old people.  I've only been blogging for 5 months and I've been contacted by 3 lost friends. Most recently a friend from high school, Joe Cochran left me a comment.  He told me about another friend, Scott Fais, who I've since sent an email.  It may be hard to create a popular blog these days, but it certainly hasn't changed the importance of blogging for me.
