I'm going with a music theme this year.  Since I've discovered Napster I've been downloading an average of 3 or 4 cds a week.  I currently use my wife's Napster account that she got for cheap through the university.

First, I currently run my Creative Muvo^2 through a tape deck converter in my stock car stereo.  This just isn't cutting it.  The sound quality isn't great and the long cable is driving me nuts.  To solve this I am looking at a Aiwa CDC-X504MP.  It has an AUX input and my plan is to create a mount  for my Muvo^2  on my dash and get a really short cable to connect it to the Aux in.  I will loose my factory installed CD changer, but the changer is in the trunk and I hate it.  I think the same CD's have been in it for about 6 months.  It will be much nicer to have an in-dash CD player along with the MP3 player hookup.

As a side note, I was very impressed with the online chat customer service of Crutchfield.  I was able to ask a lot of questions to the person on the other end and get some recommendations based on what I wanted.  This is a piece that is sorely missed from most e-commerce websites.

Second, I want new headphones to listen to all this music at work.  I've been looking at several and haven't quite made up my mind.

There's the Sony MDR-G94NC  which are around $70.00.  They look cool and are noise canceling, but the reviews I've read aren't stellar.

I also have looked at the Etymotic 6isolator earphones.  These are the headphones that Scoble recommends. They are a bit pricey at about $130.00.  The other issue I have with them is that they are earbuds and they look very uncomfortable.

Lastly and the ones I'm leaning toward are the Sennheiser HD-515 Audiophile 500 Series Headphones.  These are the same price as the Sony's and I love the design.  I currently have a cheap set of headphones with the same over-ear design.  Besides getting hot hears after listening for a long time they are very comfortable.

I'm not sure what to do about the headphones, so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

The last thing I'm asking for is a full blown Napster-To-Go subscription.  I can't upgrade the university account so this will cost about $15.00/month.  I think that's reasonable to get all the music I want onto my Mp3 player.

UPDATE:  My brother pointed me to the Grado SR80 headphones. The reviewes are good and he has a friend that likes them.  These are now my top choice.
