I went to the VS 2005 launch yesterday.  As with the majority of MS events I've been to in this region, I was disappointed.  There was a ton of talk about team system.  First, team system wasn't launching.  Why are they trying to sell me on something other than what is launching?  Second, I've seen all of the team system demos before in various forms.  Yes it's cool, but I wanted to see more about visual studio.

Also, the demos were horrible.  I don't think any of them worked.

On the up side, I got to hang out with a lot of the guys from Urban Science, and get free copies of Visual Studio 2005, Sql Server 2005, and Biztalk server 2006.
