A friend of mine helped me get OpenVPN up and running so I can now VPN into my home office and connect to my servers. My next step was to get Subversion up and running on my Linux box as well. Maybe it's just the learning curve of Linux, or maybe I'm an idiot, but I'm having the hardest time getting Subversion running. I've setup Subversion before on a Windows box and I didn't have this many problems. I still can't get it to work.
I really am trying to push myself into a new platform just for the experience, but it's very difficult. I've wasted about 16 hours and I still can't manage to use subversion through apache. At this point I may just give up and install it on my windows box.
What I'm struggling with is, is this just a learning curve problem, or is Linux really this much more difficult to use than Windows?
