So as you know from my previous post.  I've been having a lot of problems getting Subversion running with Apache on my Linux box.  I decided today that I really couldn't continue developing without source control running.  I did a quick search on google and found this howto.  I was familiar with many of the config settings since they are the same on the Linux side.  Within an hour I had Subversion up and running over my network.  Why is it so much easier on windows then it is on Linux?

I really am trying to give Linux a chance, but when I waste 15 hours trying to get something working and then implement the same solution on a Windows platform within an hour, it's not a very convincing argument.
