Happy holidays to everyone. 

I must have been a good boy this year.   My wife got me a new chef's knife and few sauces and vinegars.  I can't wait to try them out.  I probably won't have a chance for a few weeks.  Tomorrow my family and I are taking a trip to Boyne Mountain (it's only a mountain if you haven't left Michigan, but let's pretend anyway) for some skiing.  From there we will drive to Chicago to celebrate the New Year with my Aunt and her family.  Then my wife and I leave on the 4th for a trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. 

I've been working my rump off over the past few weeks in order to make time to take the trip so I can't wait.
